MEET JESS

Jess is a multi-award winning Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) who has been published in the Huffington Post and The Journal of Occupational Science. Jess trained as an Occupational Therapist in University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland. While studying in UCC, she received the H.H. Stewart Scholarship Award in OT & The Gobal Undergraduate Award for Social Innovation for her research on children's online social participation. After graduating, she moved to Australia where she worked as Private Paediatric OT in Melbourne & Brisbane.

Jess founded My OT & Me in 2018 & launched Octobox in October 2019 after identifying a need for increased access & availability of home-based supports. Octobox & My OT University were created to support more families & children in understanding and faciltating positive child development in the home. The focus is on home-based, holistic, fun & accessible resources. Aswell as the My OT & Me Platform, Jess offers Occupational Therapy assessment & intervention in children's home & school environments and through telehealth sessions.

Innovative & creative intervention is at the core of Jess's practice, ensuring that parents feel supported & children make positive progression.
